Rafael knows his stuff! We definitely recommend anybody to tour Rocinha with him! It's also a huge plus that he speaks 5 languages! English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Hebrew! Not only did we feel 100% safe with him on our tour, we left with a much deeper understanding and appreciation for what life in a favela is like for the people who live there. Rafael was very thorough and made sure to stop and see if we had questions along the way! We went on our tour in the late afternoon so luckily it wasn't too hot but make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there is lots of walking up and downhill and some parts can be quite exhausting if you're not used to walking up and down steep slopes. Again, we can't thank him enough and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! Tell him Christian and Alexis from America sent you!

I love traveling and seeing what each city offers and this walking tour took me to a place that wasn't pretty, but was very real- the homeless population. This was my first stop and the rest of the tour doesn't provide such a shot to the gut, but I'm glad I saw this side of life just outside the Cathedral where two very different worlds are next to each other. My guide, Andre, was exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable about Sao Paulo, its history and its newness, the architecture of the past and the modern. He was patient as I asked so many questions and his answers were thorough. Getting to know Old Sao Paulo was an amazing experience! I highly recommend this tour with Andre. It will be time well spent.

Our guide, G, was excellent. She is very knowledgeable about all the places we visited on this tour. Unfortunately, the cables on Sugarloaf were being maintained so we were not able to go up, but that was out of our control. It's a reason to go back. Instead we went on the Rio Star- a giant ferris wheel with great views. The pandemic shut down the stadium, but again, that was out of our control; I'm glad I was still able to see it, though. I highly recommend this tour with G. She made the day exceptionally worthwhile.

Laura was really outgoing and knowledgeable of the different food that is around the main part of downtown São Paulo. When walking around the city, she made all the information easy to understand and really "kept it real". All the food was good and the extra experiences that she took me to made this tour so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting São Paulo!!!

Excellent value to see the most sought after attractions in Rio. Great knowledge from the guide Flavio too. Very good lunch included.
