7. Agadir: Paradise Valley and Agadir City Tour with Lunch
Your Agadir to Paradise valley Trip starts at 8:30AM or 2:00PM in the afternoon, as you drive towards the Immouzer and Paradise Valley road (Honey road), north of Agadir. Out there, you will discover that the water flows all the time, and that the refreshing green landscape is permanent. You can take an adventure through Paradise Valley, and make your way from the city to the countryside to see the tiny streams, mountain gorges, and flowing waterfalls in the picturesque villages. Once you arrive to Paradise Valley, you will take a hike of around 20 minutes, before settling down for some beautiful free time at the natural pools. Following this refreshing break, you will drive back to Agadir.
Next, you will drive up the hill to Agadir Ou-fellah (Agadir hilltop), to see the city’s 16th-century Saadian Kasbah (a fortress which was built in 1572), which offers a complete panoramic view of the whole city and the fishing port. The Agadir Argan Oil House will also be a stop on your tour, where you will receive information about a very rare oil, and see how the Berber women produce what is known in Europe as a Golden Liquid. You will learn how they gather and dry the nuts, roast and grind the kernels and finally extract the pure oil.
Your final stop before returning back to the hotel will be "Souk El Hed", or Sunday Market (locals market), which is the largest market in the region. In the local market, you will be given an hour of free time to experience the market by your own, while the driver will be waiting for you right outside of the market.
