The tour was super organized. We were picked up from the meeting point on time. The bus ride to Vesuvius was hard, steep, narrow, a bit bumpy, but the bus driver took us everywhere safely. The ascent of Vesuvius was great, the view and generally the adventure of climbing a volcano was great. The subsequent lunch and wine tasting was really delicious and a lot. We got really full and we were able to taste 5 wines. Our guide was also great, you could ask anything and everyone was always addressed. The tour was really great and I would recommend it to everyone. 5 Stars!
The guide was very attentive and welcoming. The walk up Vesuvius was comfortable and the wine tasting and food were delicious. The one thing that I would say is that the sampling of the wine could have been slower and more relaxed as there eas a long gap between our fourth and fifth wines
The trip was great with a guide who kept us well informed. We had great visibility at the top of the volcano so photos are terrific. The lunch was delicious everything homemade and we had 5 different wines which were all great . Dropped back off at hotel at 5pm a full day excursion.
We had a wonderful time on our tour - our guide, Cynthia, was incredible and so funny. The hike itself is more rigorous than expected but oh so worth it and then the lunch/wine tasting after was the perfect reward. Highly recommend.
The bus trip/walk to the top of mount Vesuvius and the wine tasting and luncheon were both excellent and well organized. Our guide Pasquale was well spoken and knowledgeable.
