Stop reading and just book this tour!! First off, it was very easy to find the group in the morning meeting place. Our guide, Nino, was fantastic. He have such interesting history of the area on our way up to the path. We stopped for a coffee (or bathroom break) before starting the bike. Nino is so knowledgeable about the area and local edible plants. It was so cool to see oregano and thyme growing in the wild. We never would have known all the interesting history and current uses of the land without Nino as our guide. We stopped for a bite to eat and some wine at a shepherds hut which was insanely cool. Nino was an amazing guide and the views along the way are indescribable so you’ll have to take the tour to see for yourself!

Nino was fantastic and the pit-stop lunch in the middle was really refreshing and enjoyable. We decided at that point to break away from the group so we could see positano. It was an incredible hike to Nocelle, but be aware of the 1,800 steps down to Positano and the walk after. It was tough!

Great experience. We debated doing this hike on our own, glad we did not. Nino and his son were superb. Nino was a wealth of knowledge about the area, flowers, history, etc. The stop at a hut for lunch was sn added bonus. Trail is not well marked; we encountered many lost tourist. Tour avoids the 1700 steps down from Nicolle and shortage of buses, as well as the need to then take a ferry back to Sorrento.
