Full description

The Sofia Communist Tour will take you back to Bulgaria under totalitarian rule. See most of the remaining Communist sights in the city on-board a classic Eastern Bloc vehicle. Start with pickup collected from your hotel by your driver. Learn plenty of interesting information about the places you will be visiting as well as intriguing and fun facts about life under the Communist regime. Cruise through town making short stops en route, where you will be able to step down and take photos of the most impressive sights. Your driver will also stop upon request at other places of interest.

A must do in Sofia ! Philip is an amazing guide and a great person, he even dropped us at the airport as our flight was just after the tour! We learned so much, not only about Sofia and Bulgaria during the Soviet era but also got a great introduction on Bulgaria’s history and culture. Thanks !

an alternative tour!

This tour was different from the others but equally interesting. The vtravel guide was professional and very prepared. He took us around the city and even outside to the beautiful parks where works from the time of communism were present. We had a problem with the car and he immediately proceeded to find a solution to the problem. While we were taking a tour of a museum he went back and made a change of car to make sure the tour ended, so let's say we were also lucky, because we got to get in two different cars !! An interesting tour that I recommend. :)
