Curl up in warm blankets with hot chocolate and snacks. The journey will go outside of the city limits away from any light pollution as the northern lights are harder to see from Reykjavík. The end location is not pre-determined as it will depend on the cloud coverage and activity in the evening. The drive will be kept as short as possible and you might stop at several locations as the lights can be quite elusive. It is often a waiting game for this beautiful phenomenon, but it is always worth it. As you search for the aurora borealis, your guide will set up their camera for a free photo shoot of your group. What people are saying about Snæfellsnes

Frank was an awesome guide and I hope to have him the next time I visit Iceland! Unfortunately, we weren’t able to see the lights but he and the driver were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and gave it all they could to show us the lights. They certainly made the best of the situation and made it a fun adventure!

Very well organised… very fortunate to see the lights… extremely cold hot drinks available to warm up… didn’t wait long for the lights to appear was amazing.. and brilliant to have professional photos… even more amazing as daughter partner proposed with lights in background

The experience is very cool. The professionals who accompany you do their best to ensure that you live a beautiful and unique experience. I regretted not having booked to go see them another time, one is not enough. Thanks.

Frank, our guide, was a great storyteller and knew exactly where to go. We arrived to a park with nobody else and saw the lights. Later, several other busses arrived—we’d found the best spot!

Although we could not see them, we know that this does not depend on the operator so I do not feel that it was a bad decision
