After meeting at the office with your kayaking team, you will receive your whitewater equipment (neoprene suits and shoes, helmet and a life jacket) before driving for 10 minutes to the starting point besides the Soča River. Before you begin your journey, the guides will tell you all the necessary information about whitewater safety and about the kayaking itself. Then, you will sit on your kayak and row your paddle through the crystal clear water through easily navigated parts of the Soča river. Using sit-on-top kayaks, which are very stable and easy to manoeuvre, will allow you to enjoy the whitewater rapids without any previous kayaking knowledge required. You will stop on the way for jumping and swimming in the emerald pools, and have a lot of fun on the waves for about 1.5 hours. The river is easy and calm, so your guides will add some kayaking challenges and games to the trip. Once you reach the finishing point, the drivers will be waiting with your dry clothes, and after everyone changes you will return to Bovec for a tour farewell in the office.

The river is very easy to navigate in the beginning but will become more challenging as you continue your adventure. Your guide will choose the parts of Soča that are challenging enough to progress, but not too difficult for anyone in the group. Once you reach the finish point, the drivers will be waiting for you with your dry clothes. After everyone changes, return to Bovec with a 10-minute drive back to the office. The tour is taken in small groups with similar knowledge and abilities of guests.

Witness the beauty and drama of the Soča River on an exciting whitewater adventure downriver from Bovec. Upon arrival at the office in Bovec you’ll be introduced to your kayak instructor for the day. Here you will be prepared with all the correct kayaking equipment, and provided with basic information about your upcoming adventure. Once all the paperwork and formalities are out of the way you will be transported to the starting point on the stunningly beautiful Soča River. This point will be determined by the instructor based on water levels and your prior knowledge and experience. You will then be instructed on all the basics of kayaking, how to maneuver safely through the currents, and how to safely react in different situations on the river. On your 5-10km journey down the Soča River you’ll encounter exciting rapids, navigate canyons, admire mountain vistas, and put all the techniques you learned to use! At the end of the trip, the driver will be waiting for you with warm clothes, where you will then change and be driven back to Bovec.

Join experienced kayaking instructors on this 1.5 hour kayaking experience in the Bled area. After a safety briefing, receive your full kayaking gear, including a wet suit, life jacket, and helmet. If you are a first-timer, you will learn basic kayaking techniques before you paddle through a lush green and peaceful river environment, far from hustle and bustle. Head down the local Sava River, a perfect playground for beginners as well as intermediate paddlers. During the trip, your experienced guide will accompany you & take care of your safety. Your guide can also take pictures for you which you can pick up later on if you would like.

Pick up your bike or white water equipment at our base from 8:00 am. Guides are not included with rentals but we are happy to assist with local information. We can arrange a transportation if you need it and we have available vehicle and driver. You can return your bike or whitewater equipment to the same location and the cost is for 1 day rental.
