From Split: Krka National Park Day Trip with Boat Ride

1. From Split: Krka National Park Day Trip with Boat Ride

Make the most of your time in Croatia with a day trip to Krka National Park, one of the country’s most beautiful natural hotspots. See everything from waterfalls to medieval towns along the way. Meet your guide and driver in Split before heading out to Skradin. Catch a relaxing boat ride to Krka National Park from here, with guaranteed unforgettable vistas on the way. Once on the other side, benefit either from a roughly 1-hour complimentary guided tour of Krka, or the freedom to explore on your own. Either way, enjoy extra time after the optional guided tour to explore. Whether it’s of flowing waterfalls at Skrandinski Buk, historical flour mills, or wood trails, snap some photo opportunities of the unbelievable scenic views in front of you. If you are traveling during the high season (June-September), board a bus to the postcard-worthy town of Primošten. Enjoy a couple of hours in this medieval island town to swim, eat, sample wine tasters, or take a scenic stroll. Some of Croatia’s best-voted beaches are native to Primošten, and its vineyards are waiting to be enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage sites. During the low season, when the weather is too cold for swimming, visit the picturesque city of Šibenik, famous for its impressive historical fortresses and known as a gateway to the National Park Kornati. Finish off the day with a transfer back to Split in time for the early evening.

What people are saying about Skradin

This was such a relaxing day out. We had a wonderful tour guide (Nene) who was very interesting and fun - they even told us about a cool butterfly photo competition happening in Krka National Park and invited us to join in. We took a lovely boat ride to the national park. Krka is beautiful and we had plenty of time to explore. Although there is no swimming in Krka anymore, we did have good fun taking a shower under one of the waterfalls! We then took another bus trip to a seaside town for food (you could also do wine tasting here - it is optional) and relaxation by the sea and it's a really stunning beach! Thanks so much for a great day :)

The trip was amazing, and our tour guide Jelena was great, very informative and funny. She told us lots about everything around us and explained the details well. There was free enough time at Krka for exploration, waterfalls were beautiful. Then we went to Primošten, this was a lovley little town, you have 2 hours to explore the town, have dinner at range of restaurants or chill by the beach. All together a worthwhile trip ! Back in split town by 17:30

It was amazing. Very good tour guide. knew a lot of fun and interesting stories. krka in hugely beautiful and must be seen. The bus trip to split the bus was changed into a festival bus as our tour guide called it nicely. There was a lot of singing. And everyone participated.

Very good tour, well organised. Very helpful tour guide, clear instructions on where to meet up after our free time.

Well worth doing this activity. The park was busy but it is stunning and Rudi is an excellent guide.
