What people are saying about Skjervoy

Excellent experience. The morning started early followed by a 4 hour drive. Once we arrived we were suited up with all the gear. The goggles need to be replaced, most were broken or cracked and several had water in between the layers. The whale watching is not for the faint hearted. The guide, however, was fantastic. She did a great job getting us close but not too close to the animals. The experience was so great that they kept us out even longer than scheduled. Then we took the bus to the location for the overnight stay. We had a sandwich for lunch but I would suggest more refreshments be provided due to the long hours on the bus. A 5:30 departure should come with some sort of breakfast or snack and we had nothing to drink for almost 10 hours. The overnight stay was very pleasant. Food was delicious and the hosts gave us a brief overview of the aurora and told us what to expect for the evening. The lavvos we're cozy and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful tour.

Unique and incredible experience! I recommend x1000 We had the chance to see orcas and even whales which gave us a great ballet, a real chance to be able to see the animals in their natural habitat. Additional equipment is provided for the boat and luckily because it is cold. The night at Lavu is magical: meals with the hosts who are very kind people. The dinner was delicious. Then we lit a fire outside and shared a moment with them while waiting for the Northern Lights. We had a great show and they gave us tips for taking pictures.

The whole activity was amazing from start to finish. From the perfectly executed logistics to the customer service across the entire trip. That's before experiencing two once in a lifetime events - watching wild orcas swimming in the Arctic and viewing the spectacular northern lights. We booked the trip last minute and what appeared to be fairly expensive on the face of things was actually unbelievable value when you throw in the transport, catering, accomodation, activities etc. Could not recommend enough!

It was an amazing tour! We couldn’t see orcas because we had to return to the harbour due to the weather but on the other hand, we managed to see an spectacular night of aurora at a privilege location. The lavvos were amazing and the staff working there really nice and helpful.

In a beautiful place, you get delicious food from very lovely people. Andy, Linda and Ivan are very welcoming. There was a storm going on so we wouldn't see the Northern Lights. Thanks to their enormous efforts, we have seen this one, special. Linda thanks for the pictures
