Meet your guide in the morning, with passports hand, ready to board the White Pass & Yukon Route railway. Once aboard the train, enjoy a 1 hour and 45 minute scenic ride into the White Pass Mountains. View narrow glacial valleys, waterfalls, and raw, scenic landscape during this fully narrated train ride. Once in Fraser, B.C., show your passports to Canadian Customs officers, then meet your tour guide for the van portion of your tour. Your guide will drive you farther north into Yukon, Canada, wowing you with tales of the Klondike Gold Rush, while on the hunt for picture postcard photo ops, and wildlife viewing opportunities. Lunch will be available for purchase in Carcross, Yukon in the afternoon. The turn around point for this tour will be Emerald Lake, a sparkling gem of a lake nestled along the S. Klondike Highway. On the return drive to Skagway, continue the search for wildlife, while watching the glaciated and snowy north faces of the White Pass Mountains unfold before you. Once back in Skagway, your guide will drop you off anywhere in town.

Start your morning with a drive through historic downtown Skagway, while your guide entertains you with tales of the Klondike Gold Rush. Next, head north on the S. Klondike Highway and climb 3200 ft. along the valley to the summit of famous White Pass. Be prepared for Canadian Customs with passports handy, then travel deeper into Canada. Listen to tales of Alaska life while enjoying the stunning scenery and hunting for wildlife along the highway. This stretch of highway is home to black and brown bears, fox, coyote, lynx, moose, and caribou, to name a few. Once at Tutshi Sled Dog Camp, enjoy learning about the art of mushing, pet the Alaskan husky pups, and take part in summer training, while a team of Alaskan Huskies pulls your group along a 2-mile track. Traveling farther north, enjoy views of pristine mountain lakes, stopping for lunch in Carcross, Yukon. Lunch will be available for purchase in Carcross. Your next visit will be to the Carcross Desert, a fascinating landmark in the Yukon, then you will turn around at popular Emerald Lake. On the drive south, enjoy a different view of the same landscape, and marvel at the heavily glaciated and snow-capped north faces of the White Pass mountains on your return to Skagway. Once back in town, your guide will drop you off in town for further exploration, or right back at your ship or hotel, it is up to you.

Meet your guide at the end of your ship’s pier in Skagway, Alaska. Drive down Broadway in Skagway, Alaska and hear the exciting tale of the Klondike Gold Rush. View the authentic historic wooden buildings along the way. Ascend the legendary White Pass, following the South Klondike Highway toward Canada. See snowcapped mountains and glacial views along the way. Drive through the Fraser area. Pass through Canadian customs and continue north toward Yukon. Spot wildlife as you explore the Yukon. The area is home to black bears, moose, foxes, lynx, coyotes, and caribou. Stop at the Yukon Suspension bridge and cross over the gushing whitewater Tutshi River. Afterward, grab a snack and hot drink in the cafe, or browse the gift shop. Pass by the wild and scenic Tutshi and Tagish Lakes, with plenty of stops for photos. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Carcross, Yukon on your own. Head north to explore the Carcross Desert and snap stunning photos of Emerald Lake. Drive back to Skagway, all the while admiring the north face of the White Pass mountains and incredible glaciers. Once back in town, your guide will drop you off at the meeting point, or anywhere else in town, where you can continue to explore downtown Skagway.

Located in a historic train carriage brought to Skagway during World War II, this escape game is a true piece of Skagway history. This activity will challenge and entertain you and your group of up to 6 people. The experience is fun for all ages, but the puzzles are built for adult brains. Patricia has run away from home, and you've been hired by her family to track her down. You have one hour to find the map that leads to her location. Use your problem-solving skills, you will work your way through a series of games and puzzles that ultimately help you to "escape".
