Set off from the meeting point in a convertible Jeep and enjoy great views of the sights and palaces of Sintra as you drive through the town. Head off-road down an unmarked trail and you will reach the westernmost point of continental Europe – the incredible cliffs of Cabo da Roca. Here you’ll start to see the sun going down. From here you begin the hike down to the secret beach It’s a steep route with some twists and turns, but after a half-hour walk you’ll reach the soft, golden sand. Relax on the beach and enjoy some traditional Portuguese ‘petiscos’ (tapas) such as cheese, chouriço, bread, and more. From the castle, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the whole region. It can’t be missed! The next stop is Quinta da Regaleira, one of the most amazing monuments of Sintra. This place is one of the most startling, magical, and mysterious in the area. Explore its tunnels, mazes, and its riddles and symbols that are reminders of the mythology of Olympus, Virgil, Dante, Camões, and of the Knights Templar of the Order of Christ. Next, stop in Colares in the cellars of Adega regional de Colares to have a tasting of the best regional wines. Discover the most western point of continental Europe. From the cliff tops, enjoy the fantastic view of the beaches and the sea. From the road near the coast, you can gaze at the beaches and the beautiful towns of Estoril and Cascais. Learn about the history of the winery, visit the cellar and taste its unique wines. Next you’ll make a stop to enjoy the town’s unique beach with its famous dunes. This spot has become a sanctuary for surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing. You’ll also visit the charming town of Cascais, a former fishing village that became a royal getaway. Today it is still one of the most attractive destinations for the Portuguese and upscale international travelers due to all that it has to offer, from boutiques and restaurants, to hotels, beaches and more.

Spend an entire day exploring Lisbon's surroundings on a tour that takes you to Sintra and Cascais. First visit the mysterious and fascinating village of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore its natural landscapes and cultural and natural heritage. You will have time to enjoy lunch among the splendid scenery and may choose to enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant, or bring your lunch and eat outside. Continue to Pena Palace located on the top of the Sintra Mountain. Embark on a guided tour through this colorful building and take in the incredible views from the mountaintop. At the end of the tour, be dropped off at the original departure point.
