Daniela was lovely, personable and knowledgeable guide. We were picked up on time at our hotel and we met up with some lovely people from USA, Craig, John, Karen and Michael. So only 6 on the tour which made the day an intimate affair that helped us get to know each other. Both wineries were quite small family run businesses however this dint diminish the quality of the wines. Daniela gave us some recommendations for lunch in Selves. The one we chose was good with a great view of Selves castle. Service was a little slow there. Because of this we only had the "tasting" of wines at the 2bd winery. However this didn't diminish from our enjoyment of the day. Daniela never made us feel rushed. Only small thing I could think of that could be improved. My wife and I were in the back seats of the minibus so we struggled to hear Daniela speak whilst driving. Maybe some type of audio speakers could be used?. Definitely recommend this trip.

Joao picked us up promptly from our villa in Albufeira. He was a great guide, very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful day. We visited two great vineyards, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, with a visit to the mediaeval town of Silves in between, where we had two hours to roam, visit the castle and have lunch. Lunch took longer than expected but Joao was very flexible and told us not to worry. The vineyards were lovely, and both tours were really interesting with very little duplication of information. Of course, tasting the wines at the places they were produced was a great highlight and I would thoroughly recommend this excursion. Our party of eight had a fantastic day, helped, not least, by Joao being a guide extraordinaire!
