Full description
Enjoy the first sights of the Chianti hills as you are first transferred by van from the meeting point. At the starting point and before heading off on your biking route, familiarize yourself with the bike and equipment and make the necessary adjustments to fulfil your heart's desire! Then experience a closer feel for the region through a leisurely, small-group bike tour on sophisticated and easy-to-use e-bikes.  Tuscany with its historic Eroica race has rendered itself as one of the world's most famous cycling areas. E-bikes now make this area accessible to all, even those with very little biking experience. Set and modify the level of difficulty at any time, whether uphill or down the valley and give the Chianti biking experience a new flavor. The silent electric motor allows you to take in the sounds and smells that the people driving through the area inevitably miss. Enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful countryside through a route of quiet roads away from the main traffic. Enjoy an easy-paced, 20km (12mile) ride of approximately 3 hours that will allow you to explore the neat rows of vineyards, pretty olive groves, dense and shaded forests.  As well as the quaint and picturesque villages for which the Chianti has become known. Be surprised by the occasional modern art installations among the vegetation, adding a touch of quirky modernity to an otherwise traditional landscape that has otherwise remained unchanged. Take some unforgettable pictures throughout the morning, during the frequent stops to take in the sights and views, breathe in the fresh, countryside air. Explore a beautifully restored Monastery dating back to the 15 century, including its neat Renaissance gardens and silent cloisters. Admire the stunning chapel fresco, known as the "Little Sistine". Having replenished your senses, jump on your bikes for one last, short ride to the family-run winery that will welcome you to learn about the long-standing art of making wine, from the vineyards to the cellars. Then sit down to a delicious tasting of the winery's wine and olive oil, accompanied a full lunch including platters of tasty local products.  After lunch, visit a second Chianti winery with cellar tour and tasting. Return to Siena's train station in the comfort of an air-conditioned van.

Wanted to let you know what an absolutely fabulous day we had today (Wednesday) with Kekko as our guide. Such a wonderful guide, so patient, so pleasant. He did not rush us, gave us lots of opportunity for care and questions and time for photos. I would say it was an absolute highlight of our time out in Tuscany. His English is so very good and that is important in a Guide for English speaking tourists and he is so attentive and listens and watches out for us at all times. Thank you to Kekko and Tuscan Escapes. We found it thru Get your Guide and it was worth every cent. Such a fabulous lunch and enjoyed the winery - but most of all - the beautiful scenery. Sorry the bikes are dusty!!

Great day trip from Siena.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out in the Tuscan hiĺls with Dominico. We were a group of just 3 (aged 53, 68 and 19). Collected promptly from the train station and driven into the countryside, we were run through our bikes and on our way without delay. We rode through beautiful countryside, almost always on country lanes, with wonderful views. Dominico had a wealth of knowledge to share and knew a huge amount about the history of the area. The motors on the bikes made even the steepest hills a pleasure to climb. Having completed the loop ride we were driven by minibus to a beautiful estate for our winery lunch, which we all agreed was one of the best we'd had in our week in Tuscany. Then on to a second estate for a fascinating tour and wine tasting. We highly recommend this trip and considered it good value.
