Full description

Admire monuments such as Luxemburg House, the Pharmacy Museum, Bridge of Lies, and Huet Square. See the Evangelic Church, Brukenthal High School, Stairs Passage and Orthodox Cathedral. Visit the 3 towers of the Citadel Wall. Then go to Thalia Hall, Schiller Square, and The General's Tunnel, before ending at Big Square. Next, drive to the typical village of Sibiel to see the museum of icons painted on glass. After a walk in the village, enjoy lunch or dinner at a peasant's house. Then go to the village of Cristian, mostly inhabited by Landlers from Austria, before the return transfer to Sibiu.

Beautiful area, excellent tour guide, worth every cent!

Marius has taken us out for a few hours to the most beautiful country side. The tour was well arranged, he knew his subject, was very professional and speaks English absolutely fluently! The tour is a must-see for anyone who is visiting Sibiu for a few days. What we enjoyed was the fact that we only had 3 days in Sibiu and you will miss half of the info if you are not meeting up with a tour guide. Marius himself is a young guy who is relaxed but very professional and his knows his history and the surroundings very well. The tour is not commercialised, so you see and hear everything but you aren't moving around like Tommy the Tourist. We've enjoyed all the small little details which Marius has pointed out, the tales of the old Romanian life and the meal we had at a local's house. We've booked the next day a trip at Brasov through the same company because of the wonderful day we had. The tour & guide comes highly recommended!

In Fabruary there are only few toutists so I had a privet tour. Alex was exelent guide and I had a wonderful and very interesting day in Sibiu and in the villages.
