Full description
You will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh city between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Then you will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle for around 4 hours to reach the Moses Mountain. When you arrive at Mount Sinai you will start your trekking tour to the sacred place where the Prophet Moses received the 10 commandments. Reach 2,285 meters by climbing up 750 steps, strolling through the night (approx 2-3 hours depending on the customers). Depending on the performance of the group, you may arrive at the summit earlier than expected. This will give you a chance to really relax and marvel at the rising sun slowly scattering across the mountains in all its splendor. While gazing at the sunrise, snap awesome photos or pray if you wish to, then begin the descent back down. Remember, it will take around 2 hours to reach the bottom. Enjoy some time to rest after the long trail and then have breakfast.  Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St. Catherine's Monastery. Browse through the old manuscripts displayed in the library and icons excavated from the Vatican. It is the oldest functioning Christian monastery in the world situated on the Sinai Peninsula along with Monastery of Saint Anthony which is located across the Red Sea in the desert of South Cairo. After you've finished touring the monastery, you can relax on the drive back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Difficult climb, not technically, because it is not a climb, but it is 4 hours climbing, so you need physical preparation. Up there it is very cold, do not hesitate and take heavy cold clothes. Reward is the dawn dazzling. The monastery was closed by the covid, and was not warned before.

We had a wonderful experience with this company from the start. They communicated promptly with us and kept us informed. Unfortunately we couldn't visit St Catherine because they closed it last minute. They offered to cancel and refund but we still decided to go. Our guide Mohammed was amazing throughout the walk and especially very helpful during the difficult climb up the 750 steps. He kept us on track for getting back down in time for the early ride back to catch the flight back to Cairo after Nile Air unfortunately changed it. I'm in awe of how he goes up and down all day and night - a wonderful person to meet and know. I want to thank him and wish him and his family a blessed life. I'm so happy to have made it to the top of such an iconic place for all the 3 major religions. I prayed for peace and compassion in the world for all the innocent people suffering due to injustices caused by religion differences, political power, and unnecessary conflicts.

The tour to Mount Moses was the highlight of our stay in Sinai. Our tour was in English, which you could understand very well, because our guide was very educated. He gave us a lot of historical knowledge on the way to the mountain and answered every question. On the mountain we were handed over to our Bedouin guide Khalid, who looked after us very carefully. The ascent in the night was exhausting but easy to manage. Since our group was very fit, we arrived at the mountain very early, where we sat in a Bedouin hut because of the cold. You could buy a blanket for € 3. You can pay with euro coins almost anywhere and I advise everyone to take enough change. At about 6 o'clock we climbed to the mountain, Khalid led us to a place from which we could overlook the valley. A unique experience. Back in the valley, Hussam led us to the monastery, where he again imparted a lot of knowledge to us. We recommend. The stop in Dahab was also great.
