I went alone on this trip in winter time, you are provided with two layers of water-resistant coveralls, and long as you have a decent pair of gloves, you'll soon forget how cold the weather is. I found that our guide gave us lots of information about the types and number of whales in the area as well as some background about the port we departed from, the captain of the ship was able to position the boat in in good places for us to get really close-up to the whales. They also provide a cinnamon bun and a cup of hot chocolate for the journey back to the harbour.
Take part in a once-in-a-lifetime experience and snorkel at a site that National Geographic called one of the top dive sites in the world.
Gear up in all the necessary snorkeling equipment provided, including neoprene hoods and gloves, a thermal undersuit, dry suit, and your own mask, snorkel, and fins.
Then, swim through the pure, filtered glacial meltwater for the ultimate bucket list experience. Only a few spots are available each day, so secure your place now.
Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Þingvellir National Park, the Silfra Fissure lies in a valley where the tectonic plates of North America and Europe drift further apart every year.
Realy great experience. Pablo the guide was super nice and guided us well!! Because of the drysuit your not that cold as you think you would be.
Climb aboard a traditional Icelandic oak boat and experience a traditional whale watching tour from Europe's whale watching capital at Húsavík. Sail out into the bay and prepare to be captivated by the work of Mother Nature. Your specialized guide will give a safety demonstration on board the boat and then feed you live commentary on all the sights you will encounter. Skjálfandi Bay is known for its rich wildlife, including numerous types, shapes and sizes of whale. Keep a look out for the acrobatic humpback whales and giant blue whales. This is wild nature and therefore unpredictable, but your chances of seeing whales in their natural environment is very high. Sail back to Húsavík harbor and enjoy the stunning scenery with a cup of hot chocolate and a traditional Icelandic kleina (twisted donut).
No whales, but two different types of dolphins, beautiful scenery and an awesome guide. Great experience.

After you have been equipped with a warm safety overall and a life vest, step aboard a modern RIB speedboat to begin your exciting adventure. Head out to the beautiful surroundings of Skjálfandi Bay while your specialized guide demonstrates safety on-board and gives you live commentary on the sights encountered along the way. Your first visit will be Puffin Island during the nesting period (April 15 – August 20), where you can observe thousands of colorfully-beaked puffins, often called "the Clowns of the Ocean." The high speeds of your boat will make it more likely you will spot some of the bigger whales, such as the majestic blue whales and acrobatic humpback whales. Watching whales in their natural environment from a RIB speedboat is a unique experience. At the end of the tour, enjoy a little surprise from a local winemaker.
Excellent tour with a great team! We got to see 3 whales so the sea sickness was all worth it ;) Make sure to eat before going out when the sea conditions aren’t great!
See the incredible northern lights from the panoramic decks of a luxurious yacht. This tour is perfect for those looking for an awe-inspiring experience watching the celestial display of the aurora borealis. Meet your captain and crew at Reykjavik's Old Harbor, where you'll board the luxury yacht. You will sail among the small islands in Faxafloi Bay and along the coast of Reykjavik before the yacht begins to sail away from the lights of the city. This will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the northern lights to the fullest. The panoramic triple deck area allows every passenger to enjoy the breathtaking colors of the Aurora, and to capture some amazing photos of the green, pink, and white lights. The tour is conducted in a small group, so your experience will be both personal and memorable. Don't worry if there is rain or wind, as the decks are partially covered to provide shelter from...
Unfortunately we didn't get to see the northern lights, but we were offered a free ticket that we will use next time we go to Iceland. Crew were extremely helpful ans the board was also a nice one as well as drinks purchased on board
After checking in in the ticket office, be escorted to the dressing room to receive warm water-resistant overalls and life vests. Sit back and peel your eyes across the rocking waves of the Atlantic, looking for any sign of life.
Make sure to bring hats and gloves—it's always colder in the bay than in the town. When everybody is ready the guide will show the way to the boat where passengers will find their seats and get informed about safety regulations on board.
The first pit-stop is Puffin Island (during puffin season which is from 1st May- 20th August). Circle around the Island, enjoying the view of thousands of sweet-looking puffins during their breeding period.

We had a great time and saw many whales. We are very happy we chose this type of boat for our whale watching experience.
Whales are the most mysterious and fascinating of creatures, and some of the best whale watching in the world is off the coast of Iceland, where the ocean currents create excellent viewing conditions. Climb aboard a whale watching boat operated by the only environmentally certified whale watching company in Iceland, and explore the southern part of Faxafloi Bay off Reykjavik’s old harbor. On the 3-4 hour tour you will get up-close to humpback, minke, and orca whales, as well as abundant sea birds, white beaked dolphin and harbor porpoise. Whales are seen on more than 95% of summer tours and 80% of winter tours, often surfacing within a few meters from the boat. To ensure that the animals are not disturbed, boats sail at a constant speed towards the whales' habitat. This is also is part of a sustainability policy that tries to minimize oil use and pollution. Guides have gone through an...
Nice guide, lots of information, great weather and lots of whale spottings! You even get thermo-suits for free! Really amazing!

Excellent Experience. Highly recommended to this in winter, as there are a lot of birds to watch in the nearby lakes. However, the picture is slightly misleading, as you rarely get to see the elusive lynx. On the other hand, the tour guide was professional. Great Value for money spent.
It was super fun. Nice instructors who could tell a lot about sevilla. A nice combination of Sporting Kayaking and getting to know the area well.
