Full description

Embark on a journey to Grand Canyon National Park. Admire the incredible views and geological wonders of Northern Arizona. Enjoy a tour fully narrated by some of the most experienced guides in the Southwest. After pickup from your hotel in Sedona, ascend the Colorado Plateau and continue through the photogenic Oak Creek Canyon. Take winding roads as you leave the red rocks behind, then stop at the tall Ponderosa Pines.

Next, arrive at Flagstaff, where other travelers will join the tour. Pass by the dormant volcanoes of the San Francisco Peaks, before heading to the Grand Canyon South Entrance. Once at Grand Canyon National Park, explore historic buildings, see majestic views at Grand Canyon Village, and enjoy lunch on your own. See some of the widest and deepest scenic views of the Grand Canyon and the mighty Colorado River. Get to experience the magnificent South Rim scenery first-hand. From the South Rim, gaze 14 miles across to the North Rim. Visit the only point where you can see both Phantom Ranch, as well as the Kaibab Suspension Bridge. Your guide knows the best vistas to stop at and will make sure you get the most gorgeous, least crowded viewpoints. At Desert View, you are free to climb the Watchtower Observatory for amazing views that will leave you breathless. On your way back from the Grand Canyon, experience a view of the western edge of the Painted Desert, the Little Colorado River Gorge, and the Colorado River Gorge.

Before you return, make a brief stop at the Navajo Reservation. Here you will have a chance to shop for authentic Native American souvenirs at the historical Cameron Trading Post.

I cannot say enough great things about both the company AND our guide. The company was professional at every turn . Our guide, Ty, was the absolute BEST I’ve ever had! His knowledge of the Grand Canyon and Arizona in general, was more than I could have hoped for. He is a “gem” and I hope he is as valued at work by his bosses as he is by his tour patrons! Loved every aspect of this tour!

This was our first time visiting the Grand Canyon, and at first we thought we would go on our own, but decided to do the guided tour. We were very happy we did! Our guide, Michael told us about the areas we drove through and then upon our arrival at the Grand Canyon was able to lead us to several great view helpful! This is an all day tour, but well worth it!

Bucket list trip and after reading all the great reviews, I decided this was the best option to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. The views were phenomenal! I literally cried at the first majestic sight! The ride was quite comfortable. The reason for the less than perfect rating was sadly to say, due to our guide. He bonded with one of the guys on our trip and between their non-stop banter on economics, current affairs, trivia and JR’s constant references to all of the businesses he’s started (including this tour operation) and all of the movies he’s been a part of and actors and more trivia...never taking a breath...ugh. Nice guy, but I had seriously hoped to have that “bucket list” memory of learning about the canyon and left the bus with an enormous headache and and the need for some QUIET. On a positive, he was a good driver on the windy roads and knew them well. We could have done another stop but his buddy wanted to hike so we stayed in one spot 1.5 hrs.
