Head down Route 68 from Santiago, passing through the Curacavi Valley on this full-day tour. Stop in Casablanca for a courtesy wine and olive oil tasting. Continue to Valparaiso on the Pacific coast. UNESCO declared the city’s historic center a Cultural Patrimony of Humanity. Admire its colorful houses, including La Sebastiana, one of the homes of poet and Nobel Laureate Pablo Neruda. Next is a visit to the popular seaside resort of Vina del Mar, where you can choose to have lunch at a restaurant. The town is known as the Garden City for its numerous parks and beautiful flowers. Enjoy all the coast until Reñaca the most popular beach area of the region. On the return drive, you’ll visit Via Las Palmas, a unique place with palm trees on its hills.

Following pick-up from your hotel (available from the districts of Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura and Santiago Centro), depart Santiago and journey to the beautiful ski resort of Farellones. Nestled in a small valley in the Andes Mountains, Farellones was the first ski center to open in Chile and continues to attract skiers of all abilities. Take a scenic 2-hour drive along a mountain road to get wonderful views of the mountains.  During the winter, benefit from the chance to stop to rent snow gear (at your own expense), and learn more about the historical aspects of how this little community works during the winter season. Stop at the Colorado Ski Resort, the second most popular ski resort in the central region. After a brief stop, continue on the road again to adventure towards the Valle Nevado Ski Resort. Once there, enjoy free time to explore the activities available at your own expense. Try out a variety of snowsports, take the air-conditioned Gondola for amazing views of the Andes and the Paloma Glacier, or you can enjoy lunch at one of the 3 different restaurants. If you prefer, relax in the lodge and enjoy lunch (at your own expense) overlooking the snow-capped mountains. Return to Santiago and get dropped off at approximately 06:00 PM.

Admire the stunning massifs, estuaries, and rivers of the Andes Mountains on a full-day trip to the Cajon del Maipo on this van tour. Enjoy a delicious picnic in a stunning natural setting along the way. Your tour will begin as you are collected from your accommodation, from where you will board a coach destined for the coastal towns of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Once in Valparaiso, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will embark on a panoramic tour of the port and Plaza Sotomayor (Sotomayor Square). Following your tour, you will ascend to the summit of the Concepción and Alegre Hills using traditional elevators. You will then take a break for lunch, during which time you can enjoy some Chilean cuisine at your own expense. Your next stop will be to Viña del Mar, which is known as the "Garden City" for its plethora of greenery. Towards the end of your tour, you will visit a coastal area to observe some sea lions, before traveling to your final stop, the Casablanca Valley. Un tour davvero ricco, Daniel è stata una guida divertente, brillante ed esaustiva, attenti ad ogni nostra esigenza il tour per quanto turistico ha avuto ben poco di "turistico", bensì ci è sembrato di girare con amici del posto. Consiglio assolutamente per che ha voglia di una giornata diversa e divertente on the road!

Excellent tour with Daniel and Miguel! He arrived on time (accommodated my last-minute change in clothing to fit the weather), was knowledgeable, provided clean and efficient transportation, and was very friendly. It was a fantastic trip! I recommend it to anyone who is in the Santiago area wanting to see more of Chile.
