By day or by night, the experience is picture-perfect. Take the time to look at the maps and through the deck's telescopes to find Santiago's major landmarks. If you have the time, watch the sun set behind the mountains for an extra dose of the awe-inspiring and jaw-dropping.

Bahá'i Temple and Cousiño Macul Vineyard

2. Bahá'i Temple and Cousiño Macul Vineyard

History, architecture and wine. A combination that you cannot miss! We start our day in the direction of Viña Cousiño Macul, founded in 1856 and being one of the oldest vineyards in the Maipo Valley. The architecture of this place has a beautiful French style with a stone base and brick vaults glued with mortar (a mixture of lime, sand and egg white). Here you can enjoy a tour, learn about the history and taste its exquisite varieties of wine, accompanied by "La galleta", a family tradition of preparing an artisan bread filled with cheese fondue that produces a unique flavor. Then, we will visit the Bahá`i House of Worship, the first in South America. An imposing place that stands out for its architecture and lighting, here you can connect with yourself in a calm and serene environment. Located in the foothills of the Andes, it also gives you a spectacular panoramic view of Santiago.

Baha'i Temple & Haras de Pirque: Wine & Reflection Tour

3. Baha'i Temple & Haras de Pirque: Wine & Reflection Tour

Take a day to relax and enjoy the peace that can be found so close to Santiago on this inspirational tour to the Baha’i Temple and Haras de Pirque Vineyard in the Maipo Valley. After your hotel pick up, we will visit the Baha’i Temple for some peace and reflection. Located at the foothills of the Andes, the Temple opened its doors in 2016. It welcomes visitors from all over the world to enjoy its serene environment. The site also offers spectacular views of Santiago and the Andes. All Baha’i Houses of Worship are circular and nine-sided. Accordingly, the Santiago temple is ringed by nine entrances, nine pathways, and nine fountains, and the structure is composed of nine arching “sails.” These have also been described as nine “petals” and the temple’s shape as “floral”; the “petals” are separated by glass which allows light to illuminate the temple’s interior. The exterior of the “petals” is made from cast glass while the interior is made from Portuguese marble. The sides of the temple are held up on the inside by a steel and aluminum superstructure. The temple can seat 600 people and it is 30 meters (164 feet) high and 30 meters (98 feet) in diameter. The Baha’i Faith teaches that a House of Worship should be a space for people of all religions to gather, reflect, and worship. After visiting the Baha’i Temple, our tour continues to the boutique Haras de Pirque Vineyard, an oasis in the upper Maipo Valley. Discover the union of two passions, horses and wine, in a unique place where the breeding of thoroughbred horses and the production of fine wines come together to see the birth of Premium and excellent wines that today give life to this exclusive and award-winning vineyard. We will begin with a tour of the winery’s facilities, in the shape of a horseshoe, and finish with a tasting of the exclusive wines of the vineyard. Afterwards, you will be treated to a charcuterie of fine cheeses and meats and more wine as you enjoy the marvelous views of the vineyard and Andes Mountains. Come join us on this special tour and enjoy a perfect day of peace and harmony so close to Santiago!

Una forma increíble de conocer Santiago. Si bien este tour no es guiado, la altura desde donde se observa a esta hermosa ciudad, la hace aún más maravillosa. Las fotos no le hacen justicia a esta hermosa experiencia.

It was really easy to get the tickets and the elevator is really fast. Up there you have an amazing 360 view over the city. I would recommend to go during the Sunset hours!

Muy recomendado para todos los que deseen conocer Santiago desde las alturas!! No hay mejor lugar que ese para ver un atardecer dentro de la ciudad!

This is definitely a great filler activity. So peaceful and beautiful views above a very busy city below

Es un panorama excelente, hay que esperar el atardecer, 100% recomendado
