1. Santiago: Cajon del Maipo Hot Springs & Barbecue Experience
After pickup, make your way out of Santiago to the surroundings of the city to an area called Cajon del Maipo. You will drive through the city center of the small town of San Jose del Maipo where you will learn the history of the development of the city. You will continue and go inside the Tinoco Tunnel to hear some stories of what happened inside. At the Cajon del Maipo you will make a stop at a beautiful waterfall called Bride's Veil where you can take amazing pictures. From there, head to the main attraction of the day, also known as Valle de Colina hot springs. Take advantage of the outdoor natural pools that have temperatures ranging between 24 and 55 Celsius degrees to take a dip and relax in the mineralized waters that come from the San José volcano. Enjoy your time in the hot waters while admiring the beautiful surrounding landscape and sipping on a cocktail. Before going back to Santiago, visit a traditional mountain village settlement where you will meet the locals and learn more about their daily lives. There will be plenty of time to interact with their animals and enjoy a traditional Chilean BBQ, with Chilean wine and whiskey. Return to Santiago and drop-off at your hotel.
