Full description

After getting picked up from your hotel in Santiago de Compostela, begin your journey along the Galician coast. Your first stop will be at a traditional Galician village. Here, head to the top of a Roman bridge where you can admire breathtaking views of the river.

Next, head to Muxia Lighthouse, where you can visit the famous sanctuary and head to the top of the lighthouse for a unique coastal experience. Continue your tour with a visit to the region's most important lighthouse, Finisterre. From atop of this picturesque lighthouse, admire panoramic views of what was considered by the Roman's to be the end of the earth.

Break for lunch in the town of Finisterre before heading to the Ezaro Waterfall, the only waterfall that arrives directly into the ocean. Later, head to Carnota, where you can see the largest horréo, an old granary suspended by pillars, in existence. Finally, head to the village of Muros, a traditional coastal village. Enjoy some free time for a coffee or stroll around the main square before heading back to Santiago.

Comfortable bus with a USB charging port for each seat. Information is given in both Spanish and English. The stop in Finisterre town was not great, as the town is mostly closed during off-peak season and we all ended up in one restaurant - I had brought a packed lunch but did not feel safe as a solo female traveller hanging around an empty town for over an hour! The views are incredible, especially the waterfall.

A day very rich in information, emotion and new experiences. The landscapes on the road, the traditions maintained, the protected places - all this imposes respect for the place visited. The multilingual explanations of the guides are impressive: a perfect mastery of the subjects in several languages and always the particular attention to any question asked. The organization is well established, the route is excellently studied and executed. The driver offered us safe and comfortable travel. Thanks a lot. The follow-up and alerts received from the organizers helps a lot to stay calm and not worry about forgetting your reservation. In summary, personally I had spent a very good day; maybe, a small recommendation for the end: on the way back, as there are no more explanations and the participants are mostly tired, put on soft background music to relax a little. Otherwise, highly recommended!!
