Full description

Depart Puerto Ayora and journey to the higher part of Santa Cruz island to cycle to Cerro Mesa, the first ecological reserve in the Galapagos. Walk the pristine paths to admire the flora and fauna, and get a spectacular view of the island and its surroundings. Continue to Garrapatero Beach for a picnic on the shore. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure to relax on the beach and marvel at the native flamingos and mallards in the nearby lagoon. Rent a kayak if you wish to experience the lagoon from a different perspective. Return to Puerto Ayora at the arranged time for the end of the services.

Guide was very good person. But no information came until the evening of one day prior to the tour date regarding the meeting time. Finally I could connect an operator after several times callings. It frustrated me a lot. The second point as complain the tour finished by 4 hours although the website says 7 hours for whole time. In addition, I wanted to try canoe as option, but a local owner of canoes refused our guide for our usage. You should have made sure if it's available or not in advance I paid about 220 $ for this tour. Only a few points for visit by a car costs a lot.
