  • Rovaniemi: Santa Claus Village and Arctic Circle

    1. Rovaniemi: Santa Claus Village and Arctic Circle

Depart after 10:00 AM and visit Santa Claus in his main office in Lapland. Discover a place where it is Christmas all year round. Have a private meeting with Santa Claus, and then send greetings to all your friends from Santa's Post Office.  Also, the Arctic Circle cuts right through Santa Claus's Village. A white line denoting the Arctic Circle, at its position in 1865, is painted across the park. You will officially enter the Arctic area when you cross the line. The line is a very popular photo spot for all visitors. Cross the circle and get an Arctic Circle certificate. Have the opportunity to taste the traditional Christmas buffet with lunch at Santa's place.

The guide helped us arrange all the things and solved our questions promptly. We only need to follow her and enjoy the tour. We didn’t need to do any preparation work.

THE SNOWMOBILE TRAIL WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!THE ONLY THING THAT DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE HUSKLY SAFARI. IT WAS TOO SHORT. IT WAS JUST 5 MIN. IF IT WAS 10 MIN MORE IT WOULD BE EXCELLENT.

We had an amazing trip, one could think that due to the lack of tourists they would provide less to save on costs but it actually felt like a VIP personal trip! They have put in the effort for just the 2 of us as they would for a large group. Couldn't recommend more.

It was fantastic, went on time and we were lucky to be the only ones booked in at that time so we had a private tour. Guide nickoli I think was excellent. So kind to my 2 girls and stopped a few times to make sure the girls got to play in the snow. He was very interactive with the kids and made sure to explain different facts about the snow and surroundings. Only negative was the early start and the transfer included other people who were not booked in for this event. We were collected 1hr before the tour when it was only a 10min drive away but because it was a normal shuttle it had lots of stops. Should have been private transfer and dud not include transfer back I'd highly recommend tour though
