What people are saying about Sant Sadurní d'Anoia

This was a great trip. Our guide was Vicente, and he was super friendly and knowledgeable and his English was the best of any tour we took (he studied in the US). Definitely recommend going with a small group tour! We opted for hotel pickup and dropoff. There were 7 of us, which was great - everyone except the two New Yorkers had a great time, and I think those ladies would have complained if they'd won the lottery. Do the world a favor and don't go on a tour of a mountaintop monastery if you're going to complain about a few stairs, ok? ANYWAY Vicente was an awesome guide and let us choose between 2 restaurants for lunch, and also snuck in a surprise visit to a renowned chocolatier in a small village near the winery. My only suggestion is that if you want to go up the funicular to the very top of the mountain, tell the guide at the outset - it might mean skipping the church, but you don't really have time to do both. Also, props to Mario, the Llopart winery host!

Ariadna was a great guide! She had extensive knowledge and such a great enthusiasm for the area and places we visited. I enjoyed that although there was a plan there was a bit of a choose your own adventure aspect to the day. Our driver was great and the ride was comfortable. Our group was the perfect size of just 3 couples and we all got along great which definitely added to the experience. Wouldn't hesitate to book with this company again. Thank you for the great day!

Ariadna was fantastic. She was sweet, friendly, knowledgeable and so incredibly attentive to our experience. Heavy fog blocked our morning views (which she had no control over) and she made special arrangements to have us take the rail back down the mountain to enjoy the views in the afternoon. The lunch she arranged was the best meal we had in Barcelona. She was an exceptional guide and a true joy to spend the day with.

We had a great time. It was a lot of fun. There were only 4 of us ( me & my husband and the two other travelers, Julie & Natasha. Liana was a very cool tour guide. The 5 of us just kept laughing and making jokes on our way to Montserrat. We just met here in Barcelona but feels like we already knew each other for a long time and this made the tour more fun.

Fantastic day trip, highly recommend! Eduard was our guide & he is absolutely wonderful….
