On October 5, 2022 we took this full day trip with our guide Andre Vidal and driver Jose Augusto and had a wonderful experience visiting Braga and Guimaraes. We started with Guimaraes and spent a few hours roaming the Historic town and the Castle. Beautiful city! Wish we had more time to explore. Then we headed to Braga and this city surprised us as it was heavenly with the most beautiful architecture, pedestrian shopping/restaurant district, beautiful churches including Bom Jesus do Monte. It was stunning and has a very relaxed ambiance where you can sit with a glass a wine and fabulous dessert and enjoy the culture and flair of the city. Most enjoyable as well is the knowledge that Andre Vidal had of his country and Portugal's history, he was a wonderful guide and educated us throughout the day. It was a pleasure meeting them, the cities and the other travellers from all over the world that made this trip GREAT!! Highly recommend!!

We loved Braga. Guimaraes was very nice but Braga spectacular. Our guide, Sergio, was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get him as our guide on another trip as well. He’s energetic, thoughtful, so knowledgeable and funny. The restaurant we ate at was very good with outstanding staff. All in all, a great tour.

The guide is very knowledgeable and courteous. I learnt lots of things histrionically & geographically by him.
