Pisa: Self-Guided tour to the sea by E-Bike

2. Pisa: Self-Guided tour to the sea by E-Bike

Pisa is well known as an artistic city, but not everyone knows that it is possible to spend a day at the beach not far from the city center. This tour follows the tramway's new cycle path to the seaside resort of Marina di Pisa. A lovely route awaits you, ideal for families and those looking for a peaceful ride through the countryside, pine forest, and sea. This route offers you breathtaking scenery, such as the Arno's Mouth (Bocca d'Arno), which is known for the presence of scales and Retoni (large fishing nets placed on wooden constructions similar to stilts) and the typical tourist harbor. The Trammino cycle path continues for another 2 km in the middle of the pine forest to the old railway station of Marina di Pisa. There are many restaurants along the coast where you can taste good fried seafood and eat delicious ice cream. Don't miss the blissful sunset from the beach, as well as an Aperitivo with a sea view. A tour where you, the E-bike, the sun, and the sea are the real stars!

Very enjoyable easy riding ebikes. Viola is a superb, knowledgeable and friendly guide. She picks interesting stops and tells the stories about murals (paintings), an ancient church and lots more. Plenty of swimming and sunbathing on a beautiful beach.

Nice bike ride on cycle path, unfortunately round trip but it's to be done anyway. Plan to stop at the port for a drink or eat on the terrace.

Very nice experience. 14 km was a bit tough to cycle in full sun, but this was certainly made up for by a splash in the sea

Easy to locate the rental, nice people, very helpful. Flexible on the return hour

Very good and helpful staff. Strongly recommended.
