This was worthwhile and excellent although we could only use the ticket for one day. Ticket much cheaper than buying at St Isaacs ticket booth. Nice courteous English speaking staff. We took Green route on an older bus and Red on a newer one which had a slightly better sound system. Otherwise both excellent with good information and great views from the top deck. The roof was closed so the cabin quite warm. At least 48 hour ticket would be recommended as you need lots of time to see all of St Petersburg and hop on/off for all of its sites.

Best option to tour the city if you have limited time. I would advise to take 48 days pass as that's what we took and gave us enough time to visit all the places at our own pace. Only problem is that the duration between busses is too long (may be due to the traffic)... Worth the money!

The red buses are the easiest way to visit this beautiful city. The metro is a cool affair and you should definitely check it out, but the stations are too far apart and too far from the sights. Have fun seeing all of Saint Petersburg for the first time. Forget London, forget Paris is going to Saint Petersburg and brings a lot of time and good shoes.
