    Delight in 3 days of activities and discover the must-sees in the Atacama Desert, from San Pedro de Atacama. The natural attractions of Atacama, the driest and highest desert in the world, are scattered around San Pedro.

    Get ready to find conical volcanoes, blueish lagoons, steaming geysers, and rock formations that appear to be from another planet. Llamas, vicuñas, guanacos, foxes, and graceful flamingos can also be experienced in this unique wildlife environment.

    The 3-day pack will be a combination of the 4 tours below. The local partner will contact you before to coordinate the days on which you will attend each one.

    El Tatio Geysers Tour:

    Visit El Tatio Geysers to be mesmerized by the largest geothermal field in the southern hemisphere and the third-largest in the world. Ride through the Putana Valley, observe flora and fauna, and stop at a lagoon to see flamingos.

    Salt Flats Route Tour:

    Explore northeastern Chile’s natural wonders of the Atacama Salt Flats and a few lagoons, with breakfast included. End the day at the Tara Salt Flat and the volcano lookout.

    Vallecito Sunset Tour:

    Explore the Atacama Desert with a visit to Vallecito and stop by the famous magic bus to later on end your day watching an amazing sunset.

    Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache Tour:

    Visit the hidden lagoons of Baltinache or Seven Lagoons, one of the secret places of the Atacama Desert. This is a wonderful landscape, of which only the first and the last one can be used for bathing.

    Due to the high salt concentration they contain, you will experience the flotation effect like the Dead Sea.

    • El Tatio Geysers do not allow the entrance of children under 7 years old so they are excluded from this part of the tour and need to remain with an adult

    • The mornings at the geysers are always cold, no matter the time of year, so make sure you bring warm clothing
    • For Salt Flats, Altiplanic Lagoons & Piedras Rojas Tour: this tour will be very cold in the morning (with temperatures sometimes below 0°C) and hot in the afternoon; please bring layers
    • All park entrances fee must be paid in cash in Chilean Pesos

    The places were incredible, and two our of our 4 guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Unfortunately we had several issues with pick ups (delays, change of locations) and 2 guides were not informative (activities, history, sites etc). So - amazing review of the places we’ve seen, but the agency can work a bit harder on efficiency and better guides!

    The tours themselves were great and even better than in the description. Every tour came with a great dinner snack or breakfast lovely set up! The only issue was the communication with the agency. I would recommend to stop by at the local provider’s office to talk about all pick up times and places and to make sure that you’re not gonna be forgotten. But other than that the tours were amazing!! Especially the Vallecito tour (that’s basically for free choosing the combo compared to the prices of all the other tours offered on GetYourGuide) surprised us and was an incredible experience!

    San Pedro was an AMAZING area with lots to do. The tours I did were great, only giving 4 stars because I could've waiting and gotten cheaper pricing through the hostel I stayed at (I think most hotels and hostels you can book tours through the front desk). I would also highly recommend renting a bike and going to the Devils Throat, it was the cheapest thing I did (5,000 pesos for bike and 3,000 for entrance) and probably my favorite! The astronomy tour through the Meteorite Museum was also AMAZING.
