The bus came about 20mins late to puck us up but otherwise the ride to and from was good. The balloon ride was truly exhilarating. The view over the pyramids really was a treat. Our pilot Ernesto was a champ snd the landing was smooth. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Only issue was that is was not ver hot. In all a wonderful experience.

This is a super well run operation. They can pick you up from your CDMX location and deliver you home. It’s an early start but the sight of all those balloons in the air in the early morning light is incredible. There’s tea and coffee and fruit before take off and then a large breakfast after the flight. Every day is dependent on the wind but we glided over the pyramids get spectacular views and then landed and were brought back to the base for breakfast with a fun mariachi band and then driven taken back to our hotel. Really special experience and highly recommended!

This tour is not to be missed. The experience of hot air ballooning over a completely empty Teotihuacan is so breathtaking and beautiful. Diego was an exceptional pilot. Take off and landing were smooth, as was the entire ride. Breakfast was good and there was a Mariachi band playing which was a lot of fun. Unless you're a huge huge temple buff, I might recommend skipping the actual visit to the temple. There is a great little museum with a lot of English translation on site, but because my time in Mexico was short I think I would have enjoyed the extra few hours back in Mexico City instead. The one complaint is that the bus was not very timely. It was 10 minutes late to pick me up in the morning and about 35 minutes late in the afternoon. I find that very frustrating because it's time wasted I could have been checking more things out. Overall though it was well organized and a really special thing to experience.
