Full description
Want to turn downtown San Francisco into your own personal giant board game? Urban Adventure Quest created an interactive Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt that lets you do just that. On this 3-hour sightseeing tour of San Francisco, you’ll be guided through the city from any smart phone. This is the perfect tour for groups – large or small – looking to make their way to the most well-known sites, along with some hidden gems that the city tries to keep secret. Race to be the first to finish the game, or take as much time as you need, solving clues, completing challenges and learning about local history along the way. The adventure begins in Yerba Buena Park and takes you on a well-designed course through Union Square, Chinatown, and down to the waterfront. You’ll explore approximately 2 miles of guided walking tour and use the city’s cable cars at one point in the game. Use your smart phone as your guide and determine your own pace. Feel like stopping to grab some dim sum in Chinatown? No Problem. Want to grab an ice cream at Fisherman's Wharf? Go for it! You’re on your own schedule. This tour is offered at a fixed group price instead of a per person pricing scale, so this is the perfect city adventure for groups who want to get the best bang for their buck. Important information

Know before you go

  • A team may have as many people as you like. However, the Quest is typically best with no more than 6 people on each team. Large groups can break up into many teams and compete for the best point score and time. Each Team needs to purchase a Quest with a unique email address and password.
  • You may purchase your Quest days, weeks or months before your adventure.
  • A step-by-step process on how you can redeem your scavenger hunt code can be found on your confirmation voucher after purchase.
  • We suggest bringing water, snacks, money, a city map, calculator, pencil & paper and, of course, a FULLY CHARGED Smart Phone.

The absolute best way to see the city and explore. This is the second scavenger hunt we've done and we especially enjoy it because we can go at our own pace, stop at shops along the way and grab food, or even pause and resume the next day. We saw parts of Union Square, China Town, Fisherman's Wharf, and downtown that we never would have seen otherwise. Highly recommend it
