Full description
Your San Francisco wine tour to Napa Valley begins as you cross the Bay Bridge and take in incredible views of the city skyline. First stop at Castello di Amorosa, a medieval-styled Tuscan castle winery constructed using more than 200 containers of European materials and furnishings. Next, stop for a photo op at the Napa Valley Welcome sign and enjoy a lunch break in charming Calistoga. After lunch, you will be treated to one of the most unique wine experiences in Napa Valley. Tamber Bey Winery shares its idyllic 22 acres with Sundance Ranch, a world-class equestrian facility. From the tasting courtyard, you’ll be able to take in stunning views of Mount St. Helena and spot Arabian horses while enjoying the winemaker’s selection of 100% estate-grown Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay wines. Your Napa experience finishes on a high note, overlooking a sun-soaked Carneros vineyard that has been cultivated for over 100 years. Kieu Hoang (formerly Michael Mondavi Family Estate) is perfectly situated to be cooled each evening by breezes from San Pablo Bay — ideal conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Take time to chill while enjoying a private, seated tasting of reserve Napa Valley wines. On the journey back to San Francisco, make one final stop at a scenic look-out point with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge where you can snap some keepsake photos of Marin Headlands, San Francisco skyline, and Alcatraz Island.

This was a wonderful day and well worth the time and money. The wineries were varied to give variety. The downside of our trip was that I booked a small group tour and it ended up combining with another group for a LARGE SMALL GROUP TOUR. Fortunately, it really didn't impact the experience.

Tour and stops well planned. Communication before your was good. Knowledgeable and entertaining bus driver, Randall. Wish the stop and service received at Tamber r Bey and Kira Hoang had been as personalized as it was at Castillo Di Amorosa. Their service was rushed and they appeared understaffed at the last two stops. May have to do with Covid. Thanks

We loved the Castello winery and our tour guide did a great job teaching us about wine. We just took off one star because we didn’t like the wines at the second two wineries and a few in our group were really stuck up. Others in the group were a lot of fun though.
