This is a LONG day. Bring water. A snack. And a good tip for a super hard-working, safe-driving, knowledgeable, friendly, personable, caring (Jay!) guide/driver. This is a must see/do if you get to the SF area... I don't know that there is a better way to get to the ~3.5-4 hrs away destination. So, be prepared but nothing can really prepare you for the scale of Yosemite. You want to set some familiar thing (a tall building, a whale, a 747... a dinosaur) next to any one of the sites you'll see to really get how big the trees and everything else is. Its like we went to Brobdingnag (if they ever re-name this place, this has got to be a contender). Also, if 3-4 flights of stairs is more than minor effort, the hike, though on a very smooth trail, you might have issues. Think about that. It is super accessible but do be aware it is "moderately strenuous" though you have time to rest as needed. And, its a long day :) Only ding was vehicle a/c was intermittent on return :-/

We ran into a few issues along the way due to weather and visibility but Dustin handled it all with grace and humour making it a very enjoyable and informative trip. Yosemite itself is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a return journey and longer stay. If you have the time for 2 or 3 days do it and you won't be disappointed but if your itinerary only stretches to a single day I can highly recommend this tour for a glimpse at a truly majestic part of the country and with every single penny. Extranomical themselves were absolutely brilliant with lots of communication beforehand, prompt collection and the best your guide on the planet. Without question a 5 star experience with a five star company.

I can't fault our guide Constantine. He was very funny, very chatty, very informative and all round nice bloke. It was a long journey to Yosemite, which was expected, but the trip may have benefitted from an overnight stay in order to enjoy the full experience. Due to the length of time travelling, it meant we did not have a lot of time to explore Yosemite itself before having to leave again. It was also a bit frustrating that our guide was not permitted to drop us off where he picked us up due to company policy regarding driving times. This meant we had to get an Uber (arranged by the company however) back to our pick up point. In the time it took the Uber to come, the driver could have dropped us off. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable trip, but longer time was needed to explore the park I feel.
