We had a very nice guide - Miguel. Even though the tour was announced as in Spanish he spoke Spanish and English (the guide at the raft did speak only Spanish - so be aware you will not understand everything if you don’t speak Spanish) and did a great job to integrate everyone. The waterfalls are beautiful- we had 2 hours. I would have liked more time but it was enough to go all the way up and down again taking our time taking photos. Others didn’t go all the way or went down by zip line. I loved the lakes - after a quick lunch we went on an almost 1 1/2 hour rafting tour on the first beautiful lake which included a 10 minute detour to a smaller lake. I liked the information he gave about the lake. Afterwards, we went to the border with Guatemala to see two other lakes. I found we had ample time to see and enjoy everything. The drive is very long though. We only got back at 9.30 pm, so I was glad, we didn’t get cut short on the sights

This tour is amazing, if you pass by San Cristobal you have to do it! It's an incredible occasion to know more about indigenous communities. The tour guide is very well planned, really nice also the second part of the tour where they bring you in the weaving mill and let you taste some local drink/food. You will be really lucky if you have Rodrigo as a guide, he's great at translating everything for you in English and Spanish at the same time and his knowledge is unbelievable! Would do it again if I could!

Visiting Zinacantan and Chamula after 20+ years. Loved the experience. A lot has changed. Our guide was just perfect. Respectable, detail oriented, knowledgeable and nice. Would highly recommend to new visitors and those revisiting San Cristobal.

If you are a lover of nature, this is for you definitely. This waterfall is amazing, also the lakes are great and beautiful.

Palenque js a beautiful old Mayan City, but as a lover of nature the beauty of both waterfalls is the best for me.
