    Full description

    Embark on a tour of Giza from Cairo or Giza by bus. Enjoy commentary from your guide as you visit ancient wonders, including the Great Sphinx, the Pyramids, and Valley Temple followed by lunch and some shopping.

    Be picked up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, Egypt's oldest existing colossal stone building (2630 BC) built for King Djoser. Next visit Memphis, the first capital after Upper and Lower Egypt's unification in 3100 BC, and witness the Colossal Statue of Ramesses II.

    Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. Next, see the Great Sphinx, a limestone statue of the mythical creature with a Pharoah's head and lion's body. Explore the Valley Temple, a funerary complex with a mortuary temple and the Pyramids of Chefren. 

    There will be free shopping time to enjoy the experience on your own, discussing the price directly with the vendors. After, return to your accommodation in Cairo or Giza.

    Great tour. Our guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable and helped put everything in context as we visited the wonders of ancient Egypt. Car was air conditioned and a great relief from the hot sun. OceanAir was very easy to communicate with, as Rania reached out very soon after booking to make sure the trip would go well.

    I strongly recommend this activity which encompasses most of the outdoor archeological sites of the Cairo area. I have seen so many things in one day ! Giza pyramids & Sphinx, Saqqara pyramid and mastabas, Memphis museum with the colossal statue of Ramses II. But that's not all ! An insight of the great Pyramid and a camel ride which I had not booked in the first place. Luckily the timing is very flexible and allows for some extra activities on Giza. So for those who just pass by one or two days in Cairo it's a must ! Big thanks to my guide Ahmed and the driver Mohamed for their kindness and readiness to help in any situation !
