Saint Thomas: Coral World Ocean Park Ticket

1. Saint Thomas: Coral World Ocean Park Ticket

St. Thomas: Night Kayak in the Lagoon

2. St. Thomas: Night Kayak in the Lagoon

St. Thomas is steeped in pirate history, ghost stories, and folklore. Depart from the Mangrove Lagoon Marina and board a two-person kayak as you watch the sun dip down toward the horizon. Paddle through the winding waterways through the mangrove trees and hear spooky pirate and ghost stories. Enjoy the starlit sky as you look for stingrays, tarpon, and other marine life in the dark waters below your kayak. And keep your eyes peeled for flocks of birds returning to nest in their roosts with the setting sun. During several stops along the way your guide will take you back to the times when pirates, ghosts and jumbies (spirits of Caribbean folklore) roamed the islands. Your spine shivers as you hear the tales of some of the area's most famous pirates. From Blackbeard, Bluebeard, and Teach, prepare for a spooky experience when you kayak along the dark waters of the Mangrove Lagoon and hear tales of shipwrecks and the eerie legends that haunt the islands to this day—some of them are more than just a memory from the past. While passing the deserted and eerie Cas Cay, be sure not to pick up any spirit hitchhikers.

We had an amazing time with Tegan. The hike was beautiful and not too strenuous. Tegan was extremely knowledgeable about local wildlife, flora, history and folklore. Following the hike we kayaked to Caneel Bay where we snorkeled for about an hour, swimming with multiple green sea turtles, a sting ray, coral reef and loads of colorful and interesting fish. We kayaked back to Honeymoon beach just in time to view the sunset. Couldn't recommend enough

Ken was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He showed us the highlights and suggested a very nice spot for lunch. We ended up not taking advantage of Meagan’s Beach because it was far too crowded on the day we were there. Overall, an excellent way to tour St. Thomas in a limited time.

Gerard was terrific! He was so full of historic information and you could tell he really loves St. Thomas. The food and drinks were very good and all the proprietors were so friendly. You could tell Gerard has a great rapport with everyone.

Jane was an excellent tour guide. She was quite knowledgable about St. Thomas. And the food was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Welcoming staff. Engaged my teen son in conversation about his t-shirt. Clean grounds. Fun observatory.
