After being picked up from your hotel with the pickup option, or after meeting your guide at the meeting point with the standard option, you’ll begin your unique horseback adventure by entering a hidden pathway leading to lush pine forests, a place of great beauty and a typical landscape of the region. Visit the old Moorish capital of the Algarve, the city of Silves, with its picturesque Castle. Stop to visit the small village of Caldas de Monchique with its famous spa, recognized since Roman times for its healing properties. Arrive at Foia, the highest point of the Algarve, with its 902m altitude and with a breathtaking view, and taste the typical liqueurs of the region while admiring the landscape. Make a stop for lunch at a typical restaurant in the Serra de Monchique, where a traditional Algarve meal will be served. Visit Lagos, a city that has always been linked to the sea, where the epic of the Portuguese Discoveries began in the 15th century. Travel to the most "Southwest point in Europe", after leaving Lagos, and make a stop at Ponta da Piedade, known for its rock formations and panoramic views. Finish the tour in Sagres, also known as the "End of the World", where the sun goes down behind the endless ocean, and observe the most amazing and breathing sunset from the top of cliffs. Be returned to the pickup location at the end of the tour.

Admire the rock formations at Ponta da Piedade and a panoramic tour over Sagres. Arrive first in the city of Lagos, known historically for the birthplace of the Portuguese Discoveries. Stroll through the city's streets and see emblamtic monuments like the Church of Santo Antonio, with its interior covered with gilded carvings and tiles. Make your way towards Ponta da Piedade, a natural monument in the Algarve known for its magnificent rock formations that potrude out of the clear waters. Admire the fragile rock arches and pillars, carved from the harsh winter storms. Embark on a panoramic tour over the village of Sagres, Praia da Marreta, and Fortaleza de Sagres. Stop and snap some great photos at Porto da Baleeira and head for the fortress at Cape St. Vincent. Witness the 28-meter lighthouse positioned on the most southwestern point of Portugal and all of Europe. Learn the history and explore along the steep cliffs before capturing a breathtaking sunset and heading back to your hotel.

Day 1: Start with pickup from your hotel in Lisbon and travel south towards the Algarve, making your first stop at Tavira. Stop at Praça da Republica where you will find the City Hall and the Tavira Municipal Museum. Visit the Museum where you will find a diverse archaeological collection from the Islamic period, the Vaso de Tavira, and the ex-library of the museum. See the Misericórdia Church, built between 1541 and 1551, which is considered the most remarkable Renaissance building of the Algarve. Next, stop in Faro, one of the larger cities of the region with a long history. Learn about the devastating impact the earthquake of 1755 had on the city. Enjoy a break for a coffee in a typical terrace or café.  Visit the Vilamoura marina which receives numerous private yachts from all over the world. As such, the marina has helped develop the region as an important center of tourism. Finally, stop at Albufeira for the night. Discover its three magnificent beaches; Praia dos Pescadores, Peneco, and Inatel, See the fishing boats on Pescadores beach, keeping alive the maritime tradition of the region. Discover the historic center of the city with its whitewashed houses and narrow cobbled streets. Or, enjoy a lively night out on the central avenue, with a variety of tempting bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Day 2: On the second day, continue your tour of the Algarve with a visit to the city of Lagos. Learn how the city was an important location in the Age of Discovery, where many expeditions and missions set sail for the Americas. Discover the defensive structures of the city, constructed to protect from attacks from the sea.  Next, visit the Sagres Fortress, also known as Promotorium Sacrum, built by order of Prince Henry the Navigator. Within the fortress, see cannons, a 16th-century tower and the Church of Our Lady of Grace. After this, return to Lisbon to finish the tour.
