Full description

Enter the magnificent Sagrada Família via the Nativity Façade, the only one that Antoni Gaudí finished in his lifetime. Compare the different faces of the cathedral, and learn what parts remain unfinished almost 130 years after work started under the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar in 1882. Hear how Gaudí’s plans have been interpreted since his death and learn about the controversies surrounding these interpretations. Move between the columns designed like trees that form the canopy of the ceiling. Explore how Gaudí developed his style from different religious, natural, and Catalonian influences. Get a better appreciation for his innovative use of light as you bask in the glow of the stained-glass windows that flood the interior with an other-worldly light. Look at some of the highlights of the museum, and see the crypt where Gaudí was buried following his death in 1926.

Guide had a good knowledge and a humerous&informative way of speaking.

As crowdy as it was, it was a bit hard to find the correct starting point. Several similar guiding companies gathered at same corner. Could be clearer.. Anyhow, the guide was friendly, humerouse and very informative. She were able to show historic pictures enabling a better understanding of the building process. Although very much people around, she was able to show us all the high-lights during the walk. Great tour!

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour today. Cristina was so lovely and friendly to us all, she was extremely knowledgeable & the tour was interesting, informative and definitely well worth it. I’m so glad we did this tour rather than go without a guide as there is too much valuable information we would have missed out on. Thanks Cristina :)

Worth it to have a guide!

Laia was our guide. She had so much knowledge about the history of this architectural masterpiece. We were so happy to spend time with her on the tour, and then as much time as we wanted afterwards to appreciate the beauty. I am so happy that I got to go to this while in Barcelona.
