We had an absolutely fantastic time at the zoo. Spent 5 hours and could spend 5 more if the weather was warmer. You should definitely plan a day there while in Rotterdam. The different regional sections and enclosures are super authentic, lots of animals and interactive activities. Plenty of activities for kids, snack bars all around the zoo. The only downside was that there wasn’t much info in English.

This reservation had two parts. The zoo and the pancake boat. These reservations were made with ease. However, I recommend checking the website of any activity you want to reserve to make sure that the attraction is actually available on the day you want to visit it. I was mislead by this site’s error indicating that the museum when it wasn’t.

Wonderful zoo. We went early with our one-year-old in his stroller which was perfect. There were enough snack and coffee spots with more than enough to see including many animals that we haven't seen in other zoos.

Not too many people, happy animals (important for me) and amazing seals. Also a big selection of variety. You should go there.

When the weather is nice, plan at least half a day. Worth it all for nature and animal lovers
