2. Sintra - Cascais: 6-Hour Electric Bike Tour from Lisbon

Embark on a 6-hour electric bike tour with 4 different modes of assistance, making climbing the Sintra mountain a lot easier, even for those used to a sedentary lifestyle. The tour begins with a briefing on how the bikes work, at Martim Moniz Square in central Lisbon. You’ll then head to Rossio station to catch the train for Sintra. During the train trip you’ll have time to let your guide know if you’d like to visit some of the palaces along the way or if you just want to cycle. Continue on to Penedo village, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views from the atrium of the church, before cycling on to Urgueira village. Take a break for lunch in Azóia village, where you’ll find a great variety of restaurants. Daniel was an awesome tour guide. I would highly recommend him to anyone that plans to make Portugal their home, he was welcoming , friendly and gave me some tips for living in Portugal , public transport and pointed me to the train station as well. I would go back for another tour with him.

The tour is really scenic and culturally beautiful. The e-bikes were great. Ethan, our guide was the icing on the cake. A nice guy who called himself a "historical nerd". We had that impression too. His knowledge of Portuguese history was impressive.

Ricardo was wonderful. Great tour. Saw a lot. It ended up being closer to 8 hours vs. 6. You don't get close to the yellow castle, like in the picture, but you see lots of others and beautiful countryside. Highly recommend it.

Such a nice way to start to get to know Lisbon! And Nuno was a fantastic guide: both a local and an experienced guide, and interested in tailoring the time to what I wanted to know.

Amazing to have one guide for just two of us! Such an adventure, would recommend this to everyone
