The tour took almost 3 hours and we were lucky to be only 7 people in the group. The queues were very long, but the tour had special fast truck. That save time and energy. It’s important to have a guide to get a lot out of the tour. It’s difficult to do it on your own. It was very little time to see the Vatican Museum. The tour is expensive especially for a family.

Absolutely fantastic experience but the tour guide was poor. Rushed through the most amazing parts of the museum and it was far from the 2.5hrs we were promised. started late and finished 40 minutes before schedule.

Unfortunately it took 45 minutes from the meeting point to the final start of the tour, although we didn't have to queue. That means we were only there about 2 hours before closing and had to hurry very much.
