The Skip the Line tour of the Sistine Chapel was advertised as a 1-hour duration. We had booked our tour for Monday, April 18, but were notified last minute on the 17th that it was cancelled and that we could go on the 19th instead. Although we needed to leave Rome late morning on the 19th, we agreed to do the tour on the 19th because it was advertised as starting at 7:30 AM with a 1-hour duration. Well, we actually entered the Vatican Museum at 8:45 AM and didn’t get to the Sistine Chapel until 9:40 AM! We spent 20 minutes in the Chapel. Clearly it was not a 1-hour duration! We enjoyed the tour and the guide was excellent, but we were rushed and we had to leave the tour group to get to the Sistine Chapel more quickly. Incorrect advertising. Frustrating.
