Full description

Once you arrive at the agency, you will start the tour right away. You will participate in Pope Francis' audience which takes place every Wednesday either in St. Peter's Square or Nervi Hall, inside the Vatican State.

You will then venture through the walls of the smallest sovereign state in the world, your guide will explain to you the history of the magnificent St. Peter's Square and the reason why it is so important for catholic people all over the world.

With your skip-the-line tickets, the guide will take you directly inside the Vatican Museums, a place enriched by rare and unique treasures. You will be able to see the masterpieces of famous Renaissance artists such as Raphael, Leonardo, Botticelli, and Michelangelo.

The marvelous Renaissance paintings and frescoes are not the only works you'll see, your guide will lead you to the Pigna's gardens and the octagonal courtyards, where you will admire the stunning ancient Roman sculpture of the Laocoon.

At the end of the tour, you will enter the well-known Sistine Chapel, hold on tight — the extreme beauty of the celestial is something very unique and special. Pope Giulio II gave carte blanche to Michelangelo who developed this original and colossal fresco work.

A program item with family, children 12 & 14 years old ... Unfortunately, the audience was canceled at short notice. Nevertheless, a recommendable & informative guided tour through the history of Rome. At first it was very entertaining because of the impressions, towards the end it dragged on a bit. It was very crowded and in any case a bottle of water should not be missing in the warm summer months.

The person who took us inside the museum and Chapel was great, but the guy who took us to the mass just left us and then we had to meet him later and then he left us again. I noticed all the other guides staying with their group. Money was definitely not worth it, regretted doing this tour.

Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. If it’s hot out bring sunscreen and maybe even a small umbrella but be courteous of others.
