Full description

Join the more than five million annual visitors of the global heart of the Catholic Faith. Experience the Vatican City with privileged access to the main attractions, including the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica.

From its stunning beauty to its ancient history and artistic and religious significance, the Vatican, the entirety of which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a one-stop-shop for any traveler.

Whether the paintings, sculptures, religious art, architecture, or even the Pontifical Swiss Guards that have protected the Pope since 1506, little else compares to the utter majesty of the Holy See.

Choose the VIP or early morning option to start exploring the beauty of the Vatican before the general public arrives. Wander the Vatican Museums, the famous Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica surrounded by very few. Or, choose the afternoon option to visit later in the day.

Follow your expert guide into the Museums to discover the world’s most extensive collection of art, including the greatest sculptures and artwork of the Renaissance period.

Continue through the Candelabra Gallery, divided into six splendid rooms containing artworks found throughout the country, bringing relics of the Roman Empire into the modern-day.

Then explore the astonishing Gallery of the Tapestries, host to an extensive collection of Raffaello Sanzio’s tapestries depicting different Catholic stories and myths.

From there, walk through the Gallery of Maps with your guide, the perfect place for travelers with a taste for the sciences. Check out the global maps created by Roman topographers – a glimpse into what the world was thought to look like centuries ago.

Experience the Sistine Chapel and marvel at the intricately painted frescoes that adorn the chapel's ceiling and walls. Listen as your guide explains what to look for once inside the chapel and answers any questions you may have after exiting.

Next, head to your final destination on this guided walking tour, St. Peter's Basilica. Discover the religious art housed here and marvel at the Renaissance architecture of the biggest church in the world. Experience Michelangelo's Pietà, Bernini’s Baldachin, and much more.

Your tour comes to an end in St. Peter's Square, the perfect spot from which to continue exploring on your own.

We had a private tour with Valentina - she was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge was unbelievable, she was very engaging and showed us things we would have missed if we had visited without a tour guide. The Vatican is huge and three hours is definitely not long enough to see everything, but with the knowledge we now have from our visit with Valentina we will go back to see things in more detail. Would highly recommend the tour and this company. Nothing is too much trouble. Valentina is a credit to them.

Was initially hesitant to sign up due to a slightly steeper cost. But appreciated it when we saw the endless queue trying to get into the Museum. The location was definitely a little tricky to find as the map points to another side of the building. We were initially bummed as we thought the group left ahead of us. But upon widening our search of the proximity, we managed to find the tour company. Our guide was clear, humorous, and did a good job explaining the different sites. The tour, however, ended 30 minutes earlier than stated and we felt that we could've learn a thing or two more with than small window, or the pace could have been slower. Our guide also gave us local tips for dining after the tour. Overall, we still enjoyed our time.

Gianluca was the perfect guide! I couldn't have asked for a better Vatican experience from someone so knowledgeable and engaging. We got through everything at the perfect pace. He had an answer (and more context than I could've asked for) to all of my questions and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anybody that visits the Vatican.
