First we were a bit disappointed because we were asked to meet 20min before the tour starts only to wait for 45min for the tour to start, so with a delay of 25 mintues. But our guide (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) was very nice and good in telling the stories. You could tell that she knows every little detail about the stautues, buildings, paintings,… etc. of the vatican but due to the fact that it is impossible to fit everything in 2h30min she had to stick to the key facts. At the end you have a good overview of the roman history.

Pure disaster! We had booked a German-speaking tour for the afternoon. We were there 3 hours (!!) before the meeting time and registered. When our tour should have started we were told by the staff that our tour was canceled due to low attendance and that we should have taken an earlier tour. They tried to reach us by phone. That probably didn't work. Then please use the email address !! On the day of the tour we received systematically generated messages from Get your Guide that the tour was about to start - with no indication of a postponement! In the end, we were allowed to go on our own with German-speaking audio guides via fast-track entry to the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel. WE DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO PETERSDOM - as actually offered by Get your Guide. For us, this offer was definitely not worth it

This was excellent, the guide was obviously enthusiastic and somewhat reminiscent about the history and culture of the Vatican. He had what seemed like boundless knowledge of the grounds and the history of the artefacts and his English speaking skills were excellent considering Italian was his native language. He engaged with the tour group and made them feel like they were appreciated and a part of the experience. He brought humour to the tour which made the tour enjoyable and unique. Thank you so much!
