Great tour and great guide. At the end of the tour you have the chance to climb up to the top of the Basilica. If you are a bit claustrophobic, I do recommend you do the second portion of the climb since the first portion can be done by elevator. On the second portion of the climb you have to walk through really narrow passages. You also have the chance to visit the tombs of previous popes. Our tour guide spoke really god English and was very thorough. Totally worth it.

The basilica is magnificent and huge! We were really impressed by the size of it and the immense number of historical artefacts that are stored inside. The tour guide seemed to have some throat issue during the duration of our guided tour, and we were not able to understand him that well at times.

We booked a 10.30 tour .were there 1 hr before because of security checks but at that time we were still lucky that wasn t too busy. We got through earlier and joyined an earlier tour too!. The Basilica, its history is amazing, how every piece of it has a deep symbolic meaning ..really I recommend it to everyone. I wish the tour was bit longer, guide was ok i felt she was rushing a bit but kids say it was me being too taken by the art ect! I loved it and wish to be back for a Full tour. Also wish price was bit cheaper but I also booked at very last minute. THANK YOU so Much!
