Worth every penny

After a bit of a shambles to find our guide (it’s really busy at the metro station with different tours), it was just us and another couple. Our guide was Tomas, a local archaeologist who had grown up in Rome. His passion for its history was clear throughout our tour and his knowledge was really impressive. We walked straight into the colusseum and he walked us around, chatting all the way. After this we went to the palatine hill and the Roman forum. He gave everything context and was informative while not going too deep into details that could have lost us. He knew the areas really well and we managed to miss the busy areas throughout the tour. He was considerate - offering toilet stops, taking photos, going at our pace and showing us to water fountains. We really enjoyed this tour and are really pleased we booked with this company. We will recommend to friends going to Rome to get Tomas as their guide. He was simply brilliant.

Great tour and well worth taking the time to skip the long lines. My guide Tomasso was superfriendly and showed us amazing things. We talked like two old friends about ancient Rome and about Dacian conquered by Emperor Trajan. We got to see it all, and had a great time in the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Grazie mille Tomasso!

Glad we booked ahead

With the queues being so long it was nice to be able to get into the Colossium without too much delay. Our guide (Francesca) was very nice and informative and obviously very knowledgeable about the subjects, we had a very nice afternoon with lots of interesting things to see, thank you.
