Know before you go
- The activity level is moderate
- Visitors are only allowed to take only small backpacks or handbags
- Comfortable shoes and light dress in summer are recommended
- All visitors must adhere to a dress code. Entry to the church will not be permitted with bare shoulders, mini skirts or very short shorts (Bermuda shorts and Capri trousers are acceptable). You can wear a sleeveless shirt during the tour but please take something to cover your shoulders with when requested
- When entering the Colosseum passing through a metal detector is required and this can cause some queues
- Liquids are not permitted in the Colosseum, you can refill your water bottles inside
