Full description
Explore the beauty of the “Eternal City” on a full-day bike tour, either on a quality trekking bike or an electrically assisted bicycle - that makes climbing Roman hills effortless. Meet your guide close to the Colosseum for an impressive view of the mighty arena of the Roman Republic. Then, continue to the Imperial Forum to see the temples dedicated to the gods of Ancient Rome. Cycle down small alleys, admiring Renaissance and Baroque palaces and churches along the way. Your local guide will lead you to some of Rome’s hidden and most famous squares and fountains, such as the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and Piazza del Popolo. Learn some of Rome’s 2,000-year history as you pedal, pausing at sites such as the Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Venezia, and Villa Borghese. Take a break for a typical Italian lunch in an authentic trattoria, along with short breaks for an espresso coffee or delicious Italian gelato. After a ride in the quaint Trastevere, pedal up Capitoline Hill for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Roman Forum and to experience one of the legendary Seven Hills of Rome. Admire Michelangelo’s urban planning on the main square of the Capitoline, and bike to the Vatican City for a view of St. Peter’s Basilica and Bernini’s graceful colonnades.

One day before the e-bike tour was due to start, our tour was canceled due to illness. We then decided to take the 4-hour drive through Rome. Our guide Elisabeth (a) was very personable and was able to answer all of our questions. In the streets it was sometimes difficult to share them with all road users. How is it only in high season. it was good and we enjoyed it.

    Super

Great way to see Rome. Super guide and electric bikes that just worked. Did not get my heart rate up though, but got to see a lot and told many facts about the sites we came across. Can only be recommended. Now have the courage to go on your own ride on an electric bike in Rome.

The best way to explore the city!

In picture-perfect weather, our four of us, our guide Rik from the Netherlands, explored the city with two other participants from England and Brazil. Due to the low season there was only an English guided tour, but the English from Rik was great to understand. With the e-bike you can get anywhere quickly and also have a guide who tells you everything about the history, culture, country and people along the way. The guide takes care of the bicycles at the sights, as long as you go to church or take photos. The bikes were very good with a spacious handlebar bag and water. With the e-bike, the tour is easy for everyone and fun for the whole family. The lunch in the trattoira was very good, but the seat in the shade was too cold for the season. Here we would have liked a place in the sun. Eating ice cream in the shade in a side street was also a bit uncomfortable. In summer this is of course perfect.
