Richard was the guide on the Colosseum tour and Dina was the guide on the Vatican tour. Having spent a lifetime travelling around the world I have always been reluctant to go on guided tools however, we decided we would make an exception and to say that we were very pleased indeed with the whole experience would be an understatement. The depth of commentary and knowledge of both people was way beyond what I would’ve expected. They were both lovely people to boot, and went out of their way to show us a lot of things which I think most people would not have cared about, but when people asked even the simplest of questions they both went out of their way to give much greater detail. It was worth every cent and I would thoroughly recommend this combination tour. If there was any downside, it is that they went out of their way to show us as much as they possibly could which left us quite tired at conclusion.

My husband and I took the combo tour on July 30th. We were very impressed by both tours. Our guide at the Colosseum was especially entertaining - he provided fascinating information with humor. I thought both tours were well done, although I have to tell you, touring both of these venues in one day is a lot (we had limited time - this was our only day to do this), but it was very doable. This is a great option to skip the lines and get a guided tour.
