Our guided Colosseum and Vatican tour was a full day activity and it certainly was that. As time was limited we tried to do as much as possible. The Colosseum guide was very knowledgeable and knew the best places for photo opportunities and trying to avoid the crowds. We spent a while at the colosseum and didn’t have as much time to explore the Roman Forum or Palatine Hill. We had a rush to get a taxi and make it to the Vatican in time for the tour. The staff were lovely and gave us good instructions before being handed over to the Vatican guide. The Vatican museums were too busy and it was a bit chaotic trying to avoid other tour groups, take photos and keep up with our guide. We would have benefitted from a slower pace to be able to focus on a few of the artworks and tapestries rather than the rushing through the various galleries. The microphone didn’t work for the first couple of galleries so once we swapped it for a working one it made following along a bit easier.

It was a long day but we went on a weekend when we had to do it all in a day. my advice is wear trainers not thin unsupported shoes. The guides were very informative and pitched it at the right level. There was enough time between the two tours to have a sit down lunch in the cool. recommend.

Ho visitato con una guida sia il Colosseo che i Musei Vaticani nella stessa giornata. Organizzazione davvero al top da aperte dell'agenzia, consiglio vivamente di affidarsi a questo pacchetto. Consiglio solo di leggere bene il voucher prima della visita e controllare bene i punti d'incontro sia per l'ufficio vicino al Colosseo che per quello vicino ai Musei
